Like anything, when you start something new you never know exactly how it'll go.  SNAP came into being because one thing led to another.   Planning it, with the help of my amazing friend and planner / stylist Alexandra has been wonderful, stressful, exhilarating and soul destroying all at the same time.  Starting something new is hard and this has been a roller-coster ride. 

 

We've been thrilled with the support we have received.  So many people have contacted us to say they'd love to be there but can't quite swing it this year.  One of the biggest take aways from the planning process is that we need a longer lead in time for next year - people need enough time to make personal and financial arrangements and we've had messages from people all over the world who are planning to come to SNAP 2016.  

But back to 2015.  Because of the way things have worked out it's going to be a bit more intimate than we initially planned this year, but we're still looking forward to welcoming over 75 of you to the Fforest. The wonderfully positive side effect of the slightly smaller numbers is that our community, the one that that we are so excited about building, will really be able to get to know each other and bond more closely.  

That bonding has already started in the secret SNAP facebook group.  People are chatting, sharing referrals, making plans to travel together and generally getting to know each other and that makes me very happy indeed.

The other benefit of a smaller event is that we have revised the schedule so each speaker teaches once, meaning you'll get to see everyone if you are there for the whole week.  We still have the same awesome roster of speakers and they'll still each be speaking for the same length of time.

The reduced size of the event means that we only have 15 tickets left available before we're full to capacity so if you want to join us for the coolest wedding photography event of the year, you can secure your spot here.

We are also selling day tickets, so if you do fancy popping along for one of the days you can. We highly recommend you book for the last day because you'll get to stay for our awesome dance party that's hosted by the fabulous Disco Shed.  Dress to impress!

SNAP is a labour of love and I am so, so excited to see all our SNAPsters arrive at Fforest on the 13th April 2015 and for them to share this experience together.  As I said in a recent post on the blog, this is not a workshop and this is not a camping trip.  It's a chance to be a part of something bigger, that will stay with you long after it's over.
